This is relevant if you are using Mobile Application Management (MAM) to create an app protection policy to require a PIN when opening an app, such as Printix App.

- Open a new browser window and sign in to Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center (endpoint.microsoft.com), using your work account credentials.
- In the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center, select Apps.
- On the Apps | Overview blade, under Policy, select App protection policies.
- In the App protection policies pane, select the policy you want to change.
- In the Intune App Protection pane, select Properties.
- Next to the section titled Apps, select Edit.
- Select Select custom apps.
- In Bundle ID type: net.printix.printixapp.
- Select Add. Select Select.
- Select Review + create to review the apps selected for this policy.
- When you are done, select Save to update the app protection policy.

Printix App is a custom app.
- Bundle ID: net.printix.printixapp
Opening Printix App
First time – The user has to sign in twice:
- Sign in with Microsoft to authenticate the user with Printix App.
- Sign in according to the configured protection policy:
- On Android this can be by PIN or fingerprint.
- On iOS/iPadOS this can be by PIN, Touch ID or Face ID.
Subsequently – The user sign in once:
- Sign in according to the configured protection policy:
- On Android this can be by PIN or fingerprint.
- On iOS/iPadOS this can be by PIN, Touch ID or Face ID.
