When you install Printix Client on your computer, your administrator may have configured, that it should convert your existing work or school printers to Printix printers. Other printers, like those you use at home do not get changed.
To help you identify the printer its name is by default modified to include a unique three-letter ID, also known as, the printer ID. Please observe, that your administrator may have chosen that printer names should be without printer ID.
